HISTORY: Mrs. Hudson was born December 4, 1929, in Chesterfield, SC, a daughter of the late Ervin and Celia Tarlton Williams. She was a retired inspector with Burlington Industries and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Doris enjoyed shopping, sewing, growing flowers, and spending time at the beach. In addition to her parents, Doris was also preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Polson, her sons, Ronald Lee Polson and Melvin Eugene Polson, and by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

5 Grandchildren: Derrell Jean Lewis, Shannon Polson, Gene Polson, Tad (Jennifer) Polson, and Nathan Polson.
