FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at St. John Free Will Baptist Church

INTERMENT: to follow in the church cemetery

VISITATION: will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mrs. Shaw was born May 21, 1928 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Mason Lee and Katie Aline Gulledge McLain. She was a retired employee of Bo-Buck Mills. Mrs. McLain was a lifelong member of St. John Free Will Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener who loved her flowers, and she also enjoyed cooking. Dorothy Lee was married to the late Charles Leghette Shaw, and was also preceded in death by her three brothers, Lloyd, Conrad, and Curtis McLain.

1 Daughter: Shelby (Tommy) Bailey of Patrick, SC
1 Adopted Daughter: Vickie (Randy) Vick of Patrick, SC
4 Grandchildren: Randall (Debbie) Bailey of Chesterfield, SC, Panda (Huey) Wallace and Missy (Michael) Hodge of Patrick, SC, and Kyle (Melinda) Vick of Morven, NC
5 Great Grandchildren: Gavin and Makayla Bailey; Briana and Karlie Hodge; and Isabella Vick
