HISTORY: Mrs. Williams was born July 9, 1912, in Ruby, SC, a daughter of the late John Cornelius and Mary Belle McGregor Huntley. She was a graduate of Queens College and received her master's degree from Duke University. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Tuscaloosa, AL. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Gressett Williams, her sister, Eloise Huntley Hearn, and by her 2 brothers, Duncan M. and Julius C. Huntley.

2 Sons: Louis McGregor Williams of Northport, AL. and Dr. Robert Huntley (Sandi) Williams of Huntsville, AL. 3 Grandchildren: Charlotte Williams (Jim) Bowling of Charlottesville, VA., Wendy Williams (Jason) Simmons of Manhattan, NY., and Robert Huntley Williams, Jr. of Dillon, CO.
6 Great Grandchildren: Jacob Huntley Bowling, Samuel James Bowling, Matthew Charles Bowling, Luke Ammon Simmons, Annie Charlotte Simmons, and Madeliene Elizabeth Simmons.
Sister-in-law: Margaret Atkinson Huntley of Ruby, SC
