Mr. Dustin “D” Alexander McMillan, age 30, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Private Family Services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Almetta Baptist Church by Rev. Corey Joplin. The service will be streamed live on the Almetta Baptist Church Facebook page beginning at 1:00 PM.

A graveside service will follow at the Jefferson Cemetery following the service around 1:30 PM. The public is invited to attend this service, but social distancing is requested. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery and other times at the home of his grandmother, Grace McMillan.

Mr. McMillan was born July 14, 1990 in Monroe, NC a son of Richard McMillan and Rebecca Mills. He was a former well digger and member of the Jefferson Masonic Lodge #239. D enjoyed spending time with family and friends, racing, riding his motorcycle, and working on cars. He also enjoyed playing with his nieces, nephews, and cousins. He had a heart of gold and loved to spread cheer around the room.

Mr. McMillan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Alex “Old Jake” McMillan; and maternal grandfathers, Raeford Mills and Jimmy Cook.

Survivors include his mother, Rebecca (Roger Moore) Mills of Ruby, SC; father, Richard McMillan of Jefferson, SC; paternal grandmother, Grace H. McMillan of Jefferson, SC; maternal grandmother, Barbara Cook of Pageland, SC; sister, Jessica (Tate) Williamson of Bethune, SC; twin brother, Justin “J” McMillan of Chesterfield, SC; brother, Lane Rivers of Jefferson, SC; aunts and uncles, Bill (Tammy) McMillan of McBee, SC, Lori (Kevin) Middleton, Keith “Frog” McMillan, Angie (David) Terry, and Jr. (Meg) Mills all of Jefferson, SC; nephews and nieces, Bubba, Emma, Pnut, Lillie, Alexa, and Oakley; special cousins, Jean Treadaway and Joyce Williams; in addition to numerous cousins and extended family.
