VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mr. Burgess was born August 30, 1938 in Pageland, SC a son of the late Floyd and Maude Catoe Burgess. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. Mr. Burgess attended Providence Baptist Church. Junior was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching Westerns and Wrestling on T.V. In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by three sons, Donnie, Kenneth, and James Burgess; two brothers, Charles and Leroy Burgess; and by two sisters, Ollie Mae McInnis and Amber Lee Courtney.

2 Brothers: John H. Burgess of Pageland, SC and Harry E. Burgess of Lancaster, SC
1 Sister: Louise Aldridge of Wilmington, NC
1 Half-sister: Rose Knight of Pageland, SC
