FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT WITH MASONIC RITES: will follow in the Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens

VISITATION: 1:00 – 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2016 prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mr. Pelfrey was born February 10, 1949 in Cheraw, SC a son of the late Martin Van Buren Pelfrey and Katye Stanley Pelfrey. He was a retired employee of Ina Bearing and a member of Westside Baptist Church. Mr. Pelfrey was also a member of the Cheraw Masonic Lodge # 15 and was a Shriner of the Moroccan Temple. Earle enjoyed following all sports, playing golf, and was an avid car enthusiast. He enjoyed drag strip racing, attending car shows, and working on his 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Earle had a heart for ALL animals, and was quick to rescue them, providing them with a second chance at life. He was a true people person who never met a stranger, and was a friend to all.

1 Daughter: Rebecca L. (Shane) Jones of Chesterfield, SC
4 Brothers: William “Butch” (Jackie) Pelfrey of Twentynine Palms, CA, John (Karen) Pelfrey, Michael (Cathy) Pelfrey both of Cheraw, SC, and Robert (Lynette) Pelfrey of Jacksonville, FL
Nephews: Joseph Pelfrey, Joshua Pelfrey, Brandon Pelfrey, Tyler Pelfrey, Nolan Pelfrey, and Ethan Pelfrey
Niece: Brittany Pelfrey

The family would like to express their gratitude and love to the staff of McLeod Regional Medical Center of Florence, SC CVICU Unit for the love and care shown to Mr. Pelfrey during his illness.
