Earl N. Johnson

Mr. Earl N. Johnson, age 85, entered into rest on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at his home. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery by hospice chaplain, Rev. Tony Clark. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Johnson was born July 20, 1936 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Blease and Atha Horne Johnson. He was a retired truck driver that enjoyed traveling all over the country. In his free time, Earl enjoyed growing a garden and taking care of his animals.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson was also preceded in death by his wife, Amo Jean Jenkins Johnson; daughter, Barbara Fury; and brothers, Russell Johnson, James “Shorty” Johnson, and Wayne Johnson.

Survivors include his brother, Ricky Lynn Johnson of Pageland, SC; sisters, Rosa Lee Hildreth of Monroe, NC, Patricia (Rick) Crump of Monroe, NC, Louise Stegall of Charlotte, NC, Lucille Johnson of Randleman, NC, and Kathleen Fitchum of Cameron, NC; sister-in-law & caregiver, Frances Horton of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Jay (Jessica) Hinson of Kershaw, SC, and Ashley Evett of Lancaster, SC; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family is very appreciative of the care and support provided to them by the staff of Regency SouthernCare Hospice of Chesterfield, and requests that memorials be made to Regency SouthernCare Hospice, 205 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709.
