Edd G. "Fast Eddie" Lang, Jr.

Cheraw, SC

          Mr. Edd Graham “Fast Eddie” Lang, Jr. age 66, entered into rest on Friday, October 7, 2022 at his home. A Celebration of Life Service will be 4:00 PM Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Sandy Plains United Methodist Church by Pastor Lonnie Grose and Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the church.  

          Mr. Lang was born August 22, 1956 in Lexington, NC a son of the late Edd Graham Lang, Sr. and Willie Merle Lee Lang. He was a talented carpenter who spent his entire career in construction. Eddie was a member of Sandy Plains United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing and was known to be a collector of “valuables.” A man with a quick wit, Eddie could always make people laugh. He will be fondly remembered as a man that loved life and lived it to the fullest.

          In addition to his parents, Mr. Lang was also preceded in death by his sisters, Sandra Teal, and Elizabeth Ruth Lang; daughter, Hailey Brown; and granddaughter, Sadie Grace Linton.

          Survivors include his children, Jessica L. Riley of Hartsville, SC, Abbi Lang of Chesterfield, SC, Grayson Lang, and their mother, Beth Riley both of Cheraw; son, Jon Brown and his mother, Shelia R. Brown of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, Jaden Riley, Baylin Riley, Allison Linton, Bentson Crook, Suzannah Gainey, and Sterling Williams; siblings, Sarah Campbell, Pam (Jimmy) Jordan both of Chesterfield, SC, Joey (Darnel) Teal of Morven, NC; special friends, Nancy Boatwright and Lynn White; and numerous nieces and nephews.

          Memorials may be made to MRC Funeral Home, 318 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709 to assist the family.
