DECEASED: Mr. Edgar Tillman Quick, age 84, died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at his home

FUNERAL SERVICE: is 3:00 PM, Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at St. John Free Will Baptist Church

INTERMENT: will follow in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens, with Military Honors.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday, October 3, 2011 at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mr. Quick was born August 27, 1927 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Monroe and Lula Hewitt Quick. He was a retired painting contractor and a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. Mr. Quick was a member of St. John Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, driving his tractor, and farming. In addition to his parents, Tillman was also preceded in death by two brothers; L.C. and Bobby Ray Quick; and four sisters; Lula Mae Polson, Faye McLain, Catherine Chavis, and Viola Roscoe.

2 Sons: Rev. Johnny (Betty Sue) Quick of Society Hill, SC and Tony (Linda) Quick of Cheraw, SC
1 Daughter: Dianne (Jimmy) Lisenby of Patrick, SC
