DECEASED: Mrs. Edna Lee Edge Smith, age 91, formerly of Chesterfield, SC went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2011

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Chesterfield Cemetery

VISITATION: is 1:00 - 2:00 PM, Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mrs. Smith was born November 6, 1920 in Fayetteville, NC a daughter of the late Mertice Harrison Edge and Carson G. Edge, Sr. She was a homemaker and a faithful Pastor's wife. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Rev. Cecil Smith, formerly of Chesterfield, SC; one beloved brother, C. G. Edge, Jr. and wife Merle; a precious sister, Lucille Edge Willis, and her husband Col. Tom Willis. Mrs. Edna was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

3 Sons: Fred Smith and his wife Beverly of Rock Hill, SC, Dr. Lamont Smith and his wife Marie Redfearn Smith of Cincinnati, OH, and Larry Smith and his wife Dr. Gale Galloway Smith of Lawrenceville, GA
4 Grandchildren: Ryan Smith and his wife Dr. Kristine Schmit of Durham, NC, Carrie Smith of Daniel Island, SC, Emily Smith of Boulder CO, and Nathan Smith and his wife Yi Lin of Chicago, ILL
