Edward T. "Head" Thomas

Mr. Edward T. “Head” Thomas, age 56, entered into rest on Friday, December 6, 2019 with his family by his side. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, December 7, 2019 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Thomas was born September 18, 1963 in Albany, NY a son of the late Richard Maurice Thomas, Sr. and Sarah Ellen Brown Thomas. He was formerly employed as a boilermaker with the PPM Group. Head was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed working in his yard and living life to the fullest. His favorite pastimes were sitting under the magnolia tree, or on the “seat of education” in front of Patrick General Store solving the world’s problems.

Survivors include his siblings, Veronica (Alfred) Flores of Crestview, FL, Dean (Linda) Thomas of Sumter, SC, and Carrie Thomas (Wayne) McManus of Lancaster, SC; nieces and nephews, Austin Stroud, Brandy (Larry) Simon, Ashley (Todd) Parks, Travis Thomas, and Deanna Thomas; and special friends, Carl Gleich and Simon Polson.
