INTERMENT: to follow in the Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 2:30 - 4:00 P.M. Monday prior to the service at the Church Fellowship Hall

HISTORY: Mrs. Gulledge was born September 1, 1927 in Chesterfield, SC, a daughter of the late William Alex "Willie" and Clara Elizabeth Hancock Lear. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and was owner and operator of Carolina Restaurant for the past 38 years. Mrs. Gulledge was a former president of the American Cancer Society, a former member of the Chesterfield Civic Club, a former member of the Home Demonstration Club, and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Eleanor was the 2004 recipient of the Katherine G. Hurst Business Woman of the Year Award presented by the Greater Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Gulledge, Jr., 2 grandsons, Kent Demby and Austin Davis, and by 2 brothers and 9 sisters.

5 Great Grandchildren: Taylor Demby, Caroline Davis, Holli Demby, Trace Davis, and Kent Austin Beaver all of Chesterfield, SC
2 Brothers: Ray Lear and Don Lear both of Chesterfield, SC
1 Sister: Joyce Gilley of Ruby, SC
