Mrs. Elizabeth "Lib" Lilly Frazier, age 91, went home to be with her Lord and Savior very peacefully on Saturday morning, August 31, 2024 with her daughters by her side. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Westfield Creek Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Jason Pope and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Wednesday, prior to the service at the church.
Born on December 14, 1932, in Randleman, North Carolina, Mrs. Frazier was the daughter of the late Marshall Hubert and Florence Edna Allred Lilly. She devoted over 15 years to her role as a church secretary at First Wesleyan Church of Randleman. As a faithful member of Westfield Creek Baptist Church, Mrs. Frazier served the Lord as a choir member, Sunday school teacher, youth leader, and WMU member, and actively participated in the annual Vacation Bible School and Christian Youth Crusaders. Her compassionate and Christ-like spirit shone through her dedication to the shut-in and nursing home outreach ministry, where she regularly visited members, mailed bulletins and cards, and most of all, prayed for those in need. Her legacy as a fervent prayer warrior will be deeply treasured by all who knew her.
Mrs. Frazier was an avid reader and more than anything sought daily to be a student of God’s word. The true matriarch of her family, her love, prayers, and admiration for her family was unparalleled and she took great pride in being lovingly referred to as “Grandma” by her grandchildren that loved her so much. She also expressed her selflessness through her baking and cooking, always eager to share her blessings with others.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Frazier was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl Wilson Frazier; son, Richard Douglas Frazier; and brother, Walter Lilly.
Those left to cherish her beautiful memory include her daughters, Cathy Luther (Doyle) of Star, NC, and Terri Campbell (Tommy) of Patrick, SC; grandchildren, Lisa Parnell (Scottie), Brad Haynes (Chrissy), Trey Campbell (Ashley), Matthew Campbell (Hannah), Ashley Vance (Steven), and Shelley Schultz (Daniel); great grandchildren, Hannah, Keileigh, Brandon, Lilly, Emma, Kolin, Georgia, Sunni, Coleman, Dillon, Jase, and Kaylin; great-great grandchildren, Brennan, and Kaison.
Also surviving are her siblings, Cletus Lilly (Nella), Alma Matthews, Earl Lilly (Jenny), Iona Frazier, Ila Flinchum (Fred), and Rachel Lilly; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the exceptional care and support received from hospice nurse Sabrina Register and the entire staff of Gentiva Hospice of Chesterfield.
Memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice of Chesterfield, 205 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709.
