Elizabeth "Dete" Roscoe

Mrs. Elizabeth Rae “Dete” Hodge Roscoe, age 57, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at her home. A private family funeral service will be held.

Mrs. Roscoe was born November 5, 1960 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of Asia Ray and Margie Rae Collins Hodge. She was a retired employee of T & T Country Store in McBee where she worked as manager and cook. Dete made a lot of friends there and was known for her mac and cheese. A member of Chesterfield Church of God, Dete enjoyed spending time with her family. Her hobbies included reading, crafting, and searching for her favorite décor, Roosters.

Mrs. Roscoe was reunited in heaven with her daughter, Hope Roscoe Melton.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, William Roscoe of the home; daughter, Chanda (Mike) Harding of Lancaster, SC; grandchildren, Christina Garces of Lancaster, SC and Christian “C.J.” Garces of Chesterfield, SC; parents, Asia Ray and Margie Rae Hodge of Ruby, SC; 2 sisters, Sylvia (Dennis) Winburn of McBee, SC, and Lisa (Charles) Freeman of Ruby, SC; brother, Danny (Sharon) Hodge of FL, and mother-in-law, Loretta Roscoe of Ruby, SC.
