Eloise Brock

Mrs. Eloise Watson Brock, age 86, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April 28, 2017 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Kathy Priest Hudson and Phillip Caulder, Jr. with burial to follow in the Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brock was born August 10, 1930 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Robert Leonard and Ida Mae Watson. She was a 1947 graduate of Chesterfield High School and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Mrs. Brock worked as a bookkeeper, most recently at the Cheraw Chronicle and Jones Furniture. She enjoyed reading and gardening.

In addition to her parents, Eloise was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawson T. Brock; siblings, Gladys Peterson, Lowell Watson, Julian Watson, Elizabeth Knight, Elsie Weaver, and Jeanette Brigman.

Survivors include her children, Ken (Theresa) Brock of Prosperity, SC, Edward (Kim) Brock of Rock Hill, SC, and Janet Brock (Mike) Priest of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Noah Brock, Anna (Daniel) Stackhouse, Sam Brock, McKenzie Priest.

The family requests that memorials be made to a charity of one’s choice.
