Eloise Jordan Jenkins

Ruby, SC

Mrs. Eloise Jordan Jenkins, age 79, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Fairview Baptist Church by Pastor Kyle Oliver and Pastor Doug Anderson with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Jenkins was born July 8, 1940 in Ruby, SC a daughter of the late Coyt and Olivia Gaddy Jordan. She was a retired employee of Challenger Industries, and following her retirement, Eloise enjoyed working at St. Paul United Methodist Day Care Center. Mrs. Jenkins will be remembered as a hard-working lady who enjoyed growing flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Eloise was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Grady Jenkins; and 3 sisters, Gracie Harper, Mary Burr, and Jennie Raffaldt.

Survivors include her daughters, Velvet J. (Jeffrey) Gilmore of Mt. Croghan, SC, and Donna Jenkins Williams of the home; grandchildren, Brandon (Sherranna) Jenkins of Lancaster, SC, Jessica (Justin) Price of Pageland, SC, and Travis J. Williams of Ruby, SC; great grandchildren, Peyton, Gunner, Ella Grae, and Luke; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to longtime caregiver, Carol Jenkins and the staff of McLeod Hospice for the loving care shown to Mrs. Jenkins and her family.
