HISTORY: Ms. Baker was born August 13, 1933 in St. Charles, SC, a daughter of the late William Edward and Maude Pierce Nesbitt. She was a high school graduate and worked as a caregiver for the elderly. Essie enjoyed word search puzzles, fishing, and watching television, especially game shows. She also enjoyed watching the hummingbirds that came to her feeders. In addition to her parents, Essie was also preceded in death by a brother Carl Nesbitt.
