HISTORY: Mrs. Gaddy was born November 13, 1924 in Jefferson, SC, a daughter of the late Will A. and Ella Johnson Clark. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School and attended Chesterfield-Marlboro Tec. Mrs. Gaddy was a retired secretary, having worked for Wannamaker Drug and William A. Hill Insurance Agency. She was a charter member of Faith Presbyterian Church, where she was very active. In addition to her parents, Ester was also preceded in death by her husband, Hollis M. Gaddy, her brothers, Paul and Joe Clark, and by her sister Dorothy Lee.
