FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM, Monday, September 23, 2013 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery with Military Honors

VISITATION: is 2:00 - 3:00 PM, Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mr. Curry was born December 27, 1937 in Cheraw, SC a son of the late Hector Wellington Curry and Lola White Curry. He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran having served for 20 years, and was a member of the Cheraw American Legion Post 23. Eugene was a former U.S. Postal carrier and was a State Paper and USA Today carrier for 25 years. He was a coupon collector and bargain hunter, and also enjoyed farming. In addition to his parents, Eugene was also preceded in death by his brothes, Charles,Otis, and James Curry, and by two sisters, Willie Mae Boan and Gertrude McDonald.

1 Daughter: Teresita Curry Crosby and husband Chris of Florence, SC
4 Grandchildren: Kayla, Hunter, and Hannah Curry and Tyler Crosby
2 Sisters: Margaret Curry Pierce of Cheraw, SC and Louise Curry Plecker of Millboro, VA
