Eugene M. "Shine" Lewis, Jr.

Mr. Eugene Miller “Shine” Lewis, Jr., age 69, entered into rest on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at his home. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Bay Springs Baptist Church by Pastor Tracy Gooding with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mr. Lewis was born January 29, 1949 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Eugene M. Lewis, Sr. and Annie Lee Shaw Lewis. A retired mechanic with Hornwood Inc, Shine was a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church, and enjoyed gardening and sharing his vegetables with his friends and neighbors. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and spending time with his friends.

Survivors include his daughters, Beth Lewis Flowers, and Erica Lewis (Derek) Rayfield both of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Claudia Flowers, Carlee Rayfield, Avah Flowers, and Carolyne Greene; sisters, Kathy Wilkerson and Barbara Gooden both of Chesterfield, SC, Carolyn Roscoe of Patrick, SC and Debbie (Jack) Hurst of Chesterfield, SC; also nieces and nephews.
