DECEASED: Mrs. Eulonia Brumit Burr, age 84, died Monday, April 6, 2009 at Cheraw Healthcare following a long illness.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery

HISTORY: Mrs. Burr was born April 26, 1924 in Elizabethon, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Joseph Barringer and Mary Sowell Brumit. Mrs. Burr will always be remembered for her love of animals and her beautiful yard on Park Lane in Chesterfield, where many weddings had taken place. She often said that when her life on earth ended, she would return as a "Red Bird." Eulonia was preceded in death by her husband, Ross A. "Buddy" Burr, Jr.

Cousins: Eulalia Cranford of Dillon, SC and Fred Sowell of Vero Beach, FL
Niece: Deborah S. Vaccarelli of Battery Park, VA
Also: many cousins, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews
