HISTORY: Mrs. Adams was born September 5, 1913 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Mark and Martha Campbell Morris. She retired from the SC Employment Security Commission, and was a member of the Lyttleton Street Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Marcus Adams, and by three brothers and three sisters.

4 Grandchildren: Diana Paige Adams and Dudley M. Adams IV of Jacksonville, FL, Keith D. Adams, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, and Dr. Scott M. Adams of Richmond, VA
2 Great Grandchildren: Austin Adams and Andrew Atkins of Jacksonville, FL
