HISTORY: Mr. Johns was born March 11, 1930 a son of the late Julius and Mamie Brock Johns. He was a retired employee of Southern Metals in Charlotte, NC and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Johns was formerly married to the late Viola Perez Johns and the late Janie Mae Self Johns and was also preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Johns; 2 sisters, Mary Brantley and Ruby Purvis; and 4 brothers, Carl, Willie, Benny, and Luther Johns.
