GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 1:00 PM, Monday, August 5, 2013 at Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church Cemetery, Leaphart Rd., West Columbia, SC

HISTORY: Mr. Bouknight was born July 25, 1929 in Lexington, SC a son of the late Joel Osburn Bouknight and Della Estelle Arehart Bouknight. He was a former employee of White Printing Company in Columbia, SC. Mr. Bouknight was a U.S. Marine Veteran of the Korean War, and was recipient of the Purple Heart. He also was a former member of the SC Army National Guard. Carroll enjoyed fishing, and country living. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Kissiah Bouknight and 2 brothers, Eurby and Clyde Bouknight; and 1 sister, Venita Huggins.

2 Daughters: Mona (Duke Anderson) Bouknight of Lugoff, SC, and Janice Bouknight of West Columbia, SC
3 Brothers: Lindy Bouknight of Columbia, SC, Herman Bouknight of Cayce, SC, and Dwight Bouknight of Irmo, SC
1 Sister: Eleanor Talbert of Columbia, SC
