Foye Sellers Wallace

Mrs. Foye Sellers Wallace, age 91, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.  Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Friday, January 26, 2018, at Zoar United Methodist Church by Pastor Ryan Powell and Phillip C. Caulder, Jr., with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 25, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wallace was born July 10, 1926, in Chesterfield, SC, a daughter of the late Jessie Watt and Josie Gardner Sellers. She was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church, a UMW member, a member of Sunday School Class #9, a former choir member, and was active in the MYF Group.  Mrs. Wallace was a retired employee of Chesterfield Middle School.  Her favorite pastimes included sewing, gardening, traveling with her family, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jessie Watt Sellers and Josie Gardner Sellers, and step-mother, Phodie Boan Sellers, Mrs. Wallace was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Dozier Franklyn Wallace.

Survivors include one son, Dozier Franklyn “Frankie” Wallace, Jr. and Rachel Brooks; one daughter, Sandra Wallace Hall and husband Keith Hall; three grandchildren, Jackie Kyser, Erin (John) Fann, and Wes (Jill) Hall; four great-grandchildren, Cristina (Jake) Deputy, Cathy Jacobs, Berkeley Fann, and Grady Hall; three great-great-grandchildren, Dallas Deputy, Payton Deputy, and Olivia Deputy; one brother, Billy (Betty) Sellers; one sister, Jennie Faye Burch; three sisters-in-law, Katherine R. Wallace, Fannie Lee (Bill) Harper and Mary Wallace; and one brother-in-law Olin Johnson; special caregivers, Louise Sims, Mary Donahue, Rachel Curtis, and Cynthia Tucker.
