HISTORY: Mrs. Hinson was born February 8, 1926 in Wallace, SC a daughter of the late Charlie Preston and Inez Driggers Jacobs. She retired from Burlington Industries with 42 years of service. After her retirement, she worked with the children at Chesco for two years. She was also a volunteer with Chesterfield General Hospital for five years. Mrs. Hinson was a faithful member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years, and also held various offices in the church. Frances was a member of Woodman of the World Lodge 0966. In addition to her parents, Frances was also preceded in death by her husbands, Oliver James Brooks and Fred Hinson; and by two sisters, Ollie Esther Quick and Ethelrine English.

2 Stepchildren: Freda Gardner of Round Rock, TX and Thomas Hinson of Indiana
3 Grandsons: Michael (Minnie) Quick, Jimmy (Dr. Angela) Quick, and Terry Quick
Great Grandchildren: Colby Quick, Caitlin Quick, Kristen Sutton, Kaylynn Quick and Payden Quick
1 Brother: Arte Jacobs of Wallace, SC
1 Sister: Margaret Pierce of Wallace, SC
