Francine Rivers

Francine Campbell Rivers, age 70 passed away after a long battle with Cancer on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at her home in Cheraw, SC surrounded by Family.

Born in Columbia, SC on December 11, 1946, she is the daughter of Lila Branham Campbell and the late Edward Lewis Campbell Sr. A graduate of Columbia College and a retired employee with the State of South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Center with over 20 years of service. Mrs. Rivers was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cheraw, SC. Francine enjoyed traveling, reading, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Johnny Rivers of Cheraw, SC; sons John Blake Rivers of Cheraw, SC; John Lewis Rivers IV of Scottsdale, AZ; a daughter Wendy Rivers (Scott) Johnson of Cheraw, SC; step son, John Randall (Elaine) Greene of Lake Norman, NC; 3 grandchildren, Holden Floyd, Bailey Floyd and Ciera Grant; mother Lila Campbell of Columbia, SC; brother, Edward Lewis Campbell Jr of Copenhagen, Denmark; and sister, Sharon Campbell of Columbia, SC.

The Family will receive friends at 3pm, Thursday, March 9, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1607 State Rd Cheraw, SC. Celebration of Life Service will be held shortly after at 4pm by Bishop George Boan. Her son John L Rivers IV will deliver the Eulogy during the Memorial Service.
