Franklin Stigler Moody

Funeral services for Mr. Franklin Stigler Moody, 44, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at McBee Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Mark Dickinson will officiate with burial in Thompson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home.

Mr. Moody passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017. Born in Chesterfield Co., SC, he was a son of Robert L. and Elizabeth Blackburn Moody. He was a 1995 graduate of Clemson University and was a registered nurse at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center. Franklin was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed being on the water and hunting. He was known by his family and friends as an excellent cook. His favorite thing in life was being a father and spending time with his family. He was a member of McBee Presbyterian Church.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Christy Boykin Moody of McBee, SC; daughters, Courtney (Jim) Beattie, Bethany, and Caitlyn; brothers, Bob (Judy) Moody of Florence, SC, Rod (Edwina) Moody of Ruby, SC; sister, Renee (Doug) Cunningham of Cheraw, SC; sisters-in-law, Lori (John) Barfield of Hartsville, SC, Susan (Kirby) Wayne of McBee, SC; Shannon (Curtiss) Outlaw of McBee, SC; also many beloved nieces and nephews.
