FUNERAL SERVICE: will be 4:00 PM, Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield, SC
INTERMENT: will follow in the Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens
VISITATION: 2:30 - 4:00 PM, Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home
HISTORY: Mr. Cason was born April 30, 1926 in Columbia, SC, a son of the late James Madison and Rosa Gaskin Cason. He was former owner and operator of Cason Radiator and Tire Service and retired owner and operator of Banjo Cason Music Co. Mr. Cason was a U. S. Navy Veteran of WWII. He was a faithful member of Westside Baptist Church, where he served as former deacon, Sunday school teacher, choir member, and building coordinator of the new Sanctuary construction. Furman enjoyed walking, looking at flowers and clouds, camping, playing music, building things, and spending time in the mountains. In addition to his parents, Furman was preceded in death by a son, Chris Cason, a daughter-in-law, Veronica Cason, and by a brother, Milton Cason.

2 Sons: Larry M. Cason of Cheraw, SC and Rex Cason of Gulf Breeze, Fl.
2 Daughters: Connie (Rev. Jerry) Rushing of Ruby, SC and Casey (Bob) Davis of Sevierville, TN
2 Sisters: Eleanor Truett and Rebecca Chapman both of Darlington, SC
Also 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren
