Mr. Gary Conrad McLain, age 37, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Clanton Plains Baptist Church by Dr. Steve West and Rev. Tommy Gaskin with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service at the church.

Mr. McLain was born February 12, 1981 in Hartsville, SC a son of Patricia Short McLain and the late Jeffery Scott McLain. He was employed with Brown’s Electric as a licensed journeyman and electrician. Gary was a member of Clanton Plains Baptist Church and attended Westside Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to the gym and spending time with his family. His greatest pastime was spending time with his children who were the apple of his eye.

In addition to his father, Gary was also preceded in death by his Nana, Evelyn Moore, his PaPa, Woodrow Moore, his grandfather, Conrad McLain, his uncle, Tony McLain, and his aunt, Agnes McLain.

Survivors include his 2 sons, Kadin Conrad McLain, Jonathan Conrad McLain; daughter, Jemma McLain; mother, Patricia “Tish” McLain of Chesterfield, SC; grandmother, Barbara McLain James of Chesterfield, SC; sister, Jessica Nicole McLain; aunts, Carolyn (Rev. Steve) West of Ruby, SC, Cathy (Joseph) Crowley of Mt. Croghan, SC, Rita (Craig) Oliver of Chesterfield, SC; uncle, Charles Moore of Ruby, SC; cousins, Matthew Moore, Leslie Hunter, Charlotte Hunter, and Faith Oliver; nephews, Zack McCormick, Taylor Floyd, Christian Floyd, and Jordyn Floyd.
