VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday,October 1, 2009 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mr. Hendrick was born May 30, 1927 in Mt. Croghan, SC a son of the late John Blair and Bernice Moore Hendrick. He was a graduate of Mt. Croghan High School where he excelled in basketball. Mr. Hendrick was co-operator of H and H Service Station for many years and retired in 1989 from Pageland Screen Printers. He was a U. S. Army Veteran, a charter member of the American Legion Post 134, and a member of Mt. Croghan United Methodist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Gerald loved nature and was an avid gardener. In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his brother Billie Blair Hendrick and his sister Maxine H. Boan.

Wife of 60 years: Clara Ratliff Hendrick of the home.
2 Sons: Gary Blair (Peggy) Hendrick of Florence, SC and Gerald N. "Jerry" Hendrick, Jr. of Columbia, SC 2 Daughters: Gwendolyn H. (Mickey) Sullivan of Cheraw, SC and Kathy H. Baker of Surfside Beach, SC
7 Grandchildren: Wendy, Jennifer, Michael, Greg, Daniel, Shea, and Kelsie
