HISTORY: Mr. Johnson was born December 7, 1942 in Jefferson, SC a son of the late Burkett and Rosa Poston Johnson. He was a former employee of Caro Knit with 38 years of service. Mr. Johnson was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church, where he served as a former Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and Sunday School Superintendent. In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by 1 son, Ricky E. Johnson, Sr.; 2 brothers, Perry Johnson, and James Heyward Johnson; and by 1 sister, Linda Price.
