Mr. Gerald G. Jones, age 59, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 11, 2022 while at his home in Twin Harbor Campground, Mt. Gilead, NC. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Tommy Blackwell. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2022 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home. The family requests that those attending services come as you are in casual dress.

There will be no family procession to the cemetery, all family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Mr. Jones was born April 14, 1963 in Monroe, NC a son of the late Robert T. and Carrie “Pat” Maples Jones. Gerald began working with his dad at age 13 and spent his entire life in construction. He enjoyed playing corn-hole, eating boiled peanuts, spending time with his family, and raising dogs.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was also preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Sue Donahue; and cousin, “Uncle Mickey” Maples.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Jones of the home; children, Jessica Jones of Orangeburg, SC, Nick Jones, Christa Barrett Jones both of Pageland, SC, Andrew Jones of OH, Gerald Jones of Mt. Gilead, NC, Cody Tweed of Monroe, NC, Skyler Tweed of Pageland, SC, and his favorite 4-legged son, “Brody;” grandchildren, Makayla, Alexis, Curtis, Jennifer, Hunter, Sophia, Dakota, Andrew, Ryan, Lucas, Alex, Khloie, Levi, Journey, Eden, and Edelyn; brother, Rickie (Linda) Rogers of Jefferson, SC.
