HISTORY: Mrs. Hamblen was born July 6, 1936 in Niverville, NY a daughter of the late John Peter and Dorothy Sanford Nitsky. She received her BA degree in Nursing, and was a retired Registered Nurse, having worked in Nursing Homes and the V.A. Hospital. In addition to her parents, Geraldine was also preceded in death by her husband, Gary Winston Hamblen, and by a brother.

Son: Jeffrey Gary Hamblen of Phoenix, AZ
3 Daughters: Lorraine Doreste Orsini of Schenectady, NY, Sheila Anne Kopchick and her husband Michael Kopchick, Sr. of Cheraw, SC, and Geraldine Marie Relyea of Naugatuck, CT
7 Grandchildren: Thomas Orsini, Anne McCarthy, Mark Orsini, Kelsey Hunter, Michelle Tafur, Kayla Relyea, and Joseph Relyea.
Great Grandson: Michael Kopchick, III
