Geraline Wright McCammon

Jefferson, SC

Mrs. Geraline Wright McCammon, age 71, entered into rest on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 24, 2020 at New Life for Jesus Center by Pastor James Johnson, Pastor Trey Thompson, and Pastor Neal Gainey with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Friday, prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. McCammon was born March 24, 1948, in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late James Ira and Kathleen Knight Wright.  Geraline loved the lord and loved attending church, she also enjoyed fishing and watching westerns on television. Geraline could often be found sitting on the porch with her sister Lucy, where they loved watching the birds and squirrels feed.

In addition to her parents, Geraline was preceded in death by her brothers Leroy Wright and Tommy Wright, and her sister Peggy Mclain.

Survivors include her husband, Michael R. McCammon; son, David Hargett of Jefferson, SC; daughters, Amanda McCammon of Great Falls, SC, and Donna (Todd) Hudson of Great Falls, SC; sisters, Lucy Anderson of Jefferson, SC, and Annie Wright of Jefferson, SC; and a nephew, James (Vanessa) Wright of Jefferson, SC
