HISTORY: Mr. Morris was born May 27, 1935 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Fletcher Eugene and Edna Gertrude Vaughn Morris. He was a retired assistant manager with the Chapin Company in Myrtle Beach, SC with 21 years of service. Mr. Morris was a member of David's Grove Baptist Church. Gilbert was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, riding his tractor, and building and repairing all kinds of things. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Edna Pearl Morris.

Grandson: Hunter Thomas Morris of Myrtle Beach, SC
2 Brothers: William P. Morris and Fletcher Morris both of Chesterfield, SC
2 Sisters: Nina Valentino and Shirley Smith both of Chesterfield, SC
