VISITATION: is 6:00 -8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of her daughter, 109 Briar Crest Rd, Cheraw, SC
HISTORY: Mrs. Gaskins was born March 27, 1923, in Summerville, SC, a daughter of the late George Oscar and Ellen Wolfe Patrick. She retired after 17 years of service as Transportation Manager with PDRTA, and was former owner and operator of Gaskins Skating Rink for over 25 years. Mrs. Gaskins was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Gladys was also preceded in death by her husband, William P. "Douglas" Gaskins, 2 daughters, Geraldine G. Oliver and Susan G. Hodge, son-in-law James Hodge, 3 grandsons, Timmy Gaskins, Gary Oliver, and Jody Gaskins, 2 brothers, Georgilee Patrick and Robert Patrick, and by l sister, Leatha Braham.

4 Sons: William P. "Buster" (Sandy) Gaskins of Hartsville, SC; Timothy P. (Ellen) Gaskins of Locust, NC; George "G.M." Gaskins; and Denny R. (Lorrie) Gaskins of Chesterfield, SC
3 Daughters: Faye G. Chewning of Cheraw, SC, Jenny G. (Kevin) Hilderbrand of Bennettsville, SC, and Sheila G. Shaw and Barry Sims of Cheraw, SC
Son-in-law: Edward Oliver of Chesterfield, SC
20 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren
Also Niece: Jewell (Archie) Wiggins of Summerville, SC
