Glenn Howard Tucker

          Mr. Glenn Howard Tucker, age 81, entered into rest on Friday, April 7, 2023. A Private Family Service will be held in the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Reverend David Sellers. A private burial will be held in the Providence Baptist Church cemetery, where Glenn will be laid to rest next to his beloved mother.

          Mr. Tucker was born April 11, 1941in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Walter Howard and Kate Vick Tucker. Glenn was a member of the SC Army National Guard and a was a former employee of BI-LO Grocery Store of Pageland. A true people person, Glenn never met a stranger and always had a smile and laugh to share. Glenn was a wonderful caretaker to his late mother, and was known as the family chauffeur. He was always on the go and ready to ride, especially to a favorite restaurant no matter the distance.

          In addition to his parents, Mr. Tucker was also preceded in death by his wife, Reath Tucker; brothers, Johnny Tucker, Wylie Tucker, and Walter H. Tucker, Jr., sister, Billie Jean Orr; and brothers-in-law, Billy Pigg, and Jerry Jenkins.

          Survivors include his sisters, Veronica Jenkins, Bobbie Pigg, and Rose Anderson all of Pageland, SC; in addition to generations of nieces and nephews.

          Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church, 232 Providence Church Rd, Pageland, SC 29728.
