Mrs. Gloria Davis Johnson, age 80, entered into rest on Monday, March 27, 2017 at her home. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Bay Springs Baptist Church by Pastor Tracy Gooding with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Johnson was born June 11, 1936 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late Walker and Annie Coward Davis. She was a retired employee of Chesterfield Webbing and a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was also preceded in death by her husband, A.L. Johnson; brothers, Thomas Davis, Tony Davis, Bobby Davis, and Bois “Bo” Davis; and sisters, Sue Hurst, Patricia Krauss, and Cubbie Pitchford.

Survivors include her children, Mike (Sue) Johnson and Sherry (Wesley) Teal both of Chesterfield, SC, grandchildren, Madison Teal of Chesterfield, SC, Skyler Teal of Rock Hill, SC, Jennifer Johnson, Brian (Stephanie) Johnson both of Chesterfield, SC, Summer (Prentice) Nuttall of Wallace, SC, and Josh Johnson of Chesterfield, SC; great grandchildren, Dustin, Savannah, Alex, Reid, and Gunner; also numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Grady Gaskins of McBee, SC.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to Embrace Hospice, 1220 Bennettsville Fire Tow Rd, Bennettsville, SC 29512.
