Mrs. Grace D. Aycock, age 89, entered into rest on Thursday, February 4, 2021. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens by Pastor Marty Nason and Brent Taylor. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:30 PM Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Due to the continued COVID-19 risks, we ask that you practice social distancing at all times and refrain from any physical contact. The family would like for all attending the service to please wear a face covering.

Mrs. Aycock was born December 9, 1931 in Kershaw, SC a daughter of the late Mack and Molsie Wright Deese. She was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and was very active in the Senior Circle. Mrs. Aycock was a retired employee of Glen Manufacturing and enjoyed cooking and baking, and was known for her delicious cakes. A quiet Godly lady, Grace was the true matriarch of her family and loved them dearly.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Aycock was also preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Aycock; brother, Ed Lewis Deese; and step-son, James M. Aycock.

Survivors include her son, Roger C. Deese; daughters, Sandra D. (Steve) Turnage, and Donna A. (Gene) Wallace all of Cheraw, SC; companion of 14 years, Julius Babecki of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, Becky D. (John) Kirkland, Brittany Davis, Melissa (Johnny) Brock, Craig (B.J.) Turnage, Heather Rainwater, Miranda Rainwater, Daniel (April) Rainwater, Justin Rainwater,Phyllis Aycock, Sadina (Buddy) Burr, and Ashley Cohoon ; great grandchildren, Lil’ John, Ny’Kerria, Trey, Hailey, Shiloh, Logan, Jackson, Kinleigh, Kenyon, Willaim, Ty, Keirra, Danny, Evie, Emma Faith, Landon, Lillie, and Marlee.
