FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 9, 2015 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Pageland, SC

INTERMENT: Will follow in the Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 4:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mr. Deese was born July 16, 1933 in Mt. Croghan, SC the youngest of 11 children to the late Silas Fincher and Lee Ola Jordan Deese. He was a former employee of Springs Industries and a retired employee of Haile Gold Mine. Mr. Deese enjoyed God’s creation and his lifelong passion was farming. He was a dedicated family man who took great pride in volunteering his time to help his daughter in her classroom throughout the years. Mr. Deese enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Ruth Deese, Gladys Sims, Johnnie Mae Woodward, and Kate Plowman; and 6 brothers, J.D., Winford, Jack, Raymond, Lenson Deese, and an infant brother.

1 Daughter: Janice Deese (Thomas) Palmer of Matthews, NC
Grandchildren: Elizabeth Ward of Marshville, NC, Jonathan Palmer, and Caitlin Palmer both of Matthews, NC, Cassie (Ben) Buchanan of Charlotte, NC, and USMC Capt Thomas Anthony (Bethany) Palmer of Coventry, England
Great Grandchildren: Braydin, Austin, Cole, Ella, and Tucker
