DECEASED: Mr. Harry Eugene Dixon, age 90, died Thursday, September 12, 2013, at his home.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: will be immediately following the service at the Funeral Home.

INTERMENT: will be at a later date in the Arlington National Cemetery

HISTORY: Mr. Dixon was born March 7, 1923 in Lewistown WVA, a son of the late John W. Dixon and Bridget Craft Dixon. He was a graduate of George Washington University, where he received his bachelor's degree in commercial science, and was a member of the Alumni Association. Harry was a retired Special Agent with the US Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. and was a former pilot with the SC Department of Natural Resources. Mr. Dixon was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. Harry enjoyed flying airplanes, cutting grass, and playing golf. In addition to his parents, Harry was also preceded in death by is wife Madge Gaskins Dixon and his eleven siblings.

Companion of 34 years: Annelle Freeman Teal and her daughters; Judy Teal (Bob) Austin and Deborah (Bill) Wicker of Florence, SC
2 Special Grandsons: Jason and Jordan Wicker
5 Sisters-in-law: Peggy Coffman of Eustis, Fl, Betty Gaskins, Joan Gaskins, and Jean Gaskins of Chesterfield, SC, and Mary Ella Lisenby of Lancaster, SC
Also several Nieces and Nephews

Memorial Service is 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Funeral Home Chapel
