FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Thompson Creek Baptist Church
INTERMENT: will follow in the Church Cemetery, with Military Honors
VISITATION: the Family will receive Family and Friends immediately following the service in the church.
HISTORY: Mr. Mills was born September 13, 1918, in Pageland, SC, a son of the late John English and Ida Outen Mills. He was a Farmer and a retired employee of J. P. Stevens with 28 years of service. Mr. Mills was a Technical Sergeant with the U. S. Army having served in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a former FSA Board member and a former member of the Farm Bureau Board of Directors. Hazel was a faithful member of Thompson Creek Baptist Church for many years, where he served as former Deacon, Adult Men's Sunday School teacher, and chairman of the Building Committee. In addition to his parents, Hazel was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Estelle Miles Mills, 2 sons, Keith and Wayne Mills, 4 brothers, Tom, Raymond, Carson, and Franklin Mills and by 2 sisters, Gladys Timmons and Lois Johnson.

1 Daughter: Mary Lynn (Steve) Rivers of Chesterfield, SC
6 Grandchildren: Stephanie (Larry) Williams, Jeremy (Grayson) Mills, Kim (Marty) Gooden, Kevin Mills, Brian (Mandy) Rivers, and Eric Rivers
6 Great Grandchildren: Madilyn Williams, Walker and Weston Mills, Caleb Gooden, and Dylan and Payton Rivers
Daughter-in-law: Kimberly W. Mills, Rockingham, NC
2 Brothers: Lawrence Mills of Lancaster, SC and Bobby Gene Mills of Monroe, NC
3 Sisters: Eunice Christian of Macon, GA, Minnie Jo Moser of Monroe, NC and
Ann Austin of Pageland, SC
