FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow at the Chesterfield Cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, January l, 2008, at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mrs. Griggs was born February 22, 1921, in Chesterfield, SC, a daughter of the late James Mark and Mary Ann Morgan Jenkins. She was a graduate of Wingate College and was a former School Teacher in Mt. Croghan, SC, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Griggs was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Helen was married to the late Robert "Billy" Griggs, and was also preceded in death by her brothers, John Wilson Jenkins, James Mark Jenkins, Jr., Carroll Jenkins, and Wayne Adams.

2 Daughters: Mary Elizabeth Griggs (Jerry) Smith of Ruby, SC and Kim Adams (Danny) Pearce of Chesterfield, SC

1 Son: Mark Wayne (Lisa) Adams of Spartanburg, SC

4 Grandsons and their Families: Matthew (Faye) Smith and Daniel (Beth) Pearce of Chesterfield, SC,Darryl Pearce of Henderson, NC, and Dylan Adams of Arkansas

1 Sister: Frances J. Jordan of Cheraw, SC

Also a number of Special Nieces and Nephews and her Special Pet, "Baby Girl"
