HISTORY: Mrs. Lewis was born December 27, 1928 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Fletcher and Berta Therrell Johnson. She was a retired employee of Chesterfield Dress Company and a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Lewis was a devoted Mother who loved her family dearly. She was an avid pet lover, who enjoyed cooking and working outdoors. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Legette Lewis, 2 brothers, Fletcher Johnson, Jr. and W.M. Johnson, and 3 sisters, Margaret Ann Rivers, Beatrice Bill, and Frances Nolan.

5 Sons: William Jr. (Ann) Lewis of Cheraw, SC, James (Peggy) Lewis of Gaffney, SC, Larry (Kay) Lewis of Cheraw, SC, Joel (Sara) Lewis and Dennis (Michelle) Lewis both of Chesterfield, SC
3 Daughters: Lucille (Dale) Roscoe of Patrick, SC, Sandra (Bobby) Bennett, and Annette (Dell) McLeod both of Chesterfield, SC
14 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren
2 Sisters: Lydia Tolson of Chesterfield, SC and Ruby Melton of Patrick, SC
1 Brother: Dicky Johnson of Patrick, SC
