INTERMENT: will follow in the Church Cemetery.

VISITATION: 4:00 - 6:00 PM, Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mr. Pegues was born August 1, 1924, in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late Thomas and Lucy Wallace Pegues. He was a retired truck driver and a Chesterfield County DSS worker, and a US Air Force veteran of WWII. Henry was a longtime member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, where he was a Sunday school member, a member of the Men's club, and a former cemetery committee member.
He loved gospel music and served on the board of the Chesterfield County Singing Convention for years. In addition to his parents, Henry was also preceded in death by his son, Larry Wayne Pegues, a daughter, Angela Kay Johnson, a granddaughter, Wendy Johnson, and by his brother and 5 sisters.

Daughter: Patricia P. (James) Morris of Cheraw, SC
4 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren
