HISTORY: Mr. Kennington was born October 7, 1925 in Monroe, NC a son of the late Thomas Carlwell and Nellie Elizabeth Gainey Kenninton. He was a retired employee of the Kendall Company and a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. Mr. Kennington was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding horses, coon hunting, and repairing bicycles. In addition to his parents, Heyward was also preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Mary Elizabeth Martin Kennington; one brother, James Kennington; three sisters, Bleaker Brock, Lois Brock, and Jeanette Kennington.

of North Augusta, SC, Grace Rankin of Newberry, SC, and Helen Miles of McBee, SC
Also 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great, Great Grandchildren
