DECEASED: Mr. Heyward D. "Sleepy','Buck" Sellers, age 91, died Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Hospice of Union County, Monroe, NC
SERVICE: A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Sellers will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 4, 2007 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC with the Rev. Keith Hinson officiating.
INTERMENT: will follow at 4:00 PM at Carolina Memorial Park, Concord, NC
HISTORY: Mr. Sellers was born February 1, 1916 in Ruby, SC a son of the late Sinclair C. and Leila Mae Smith Sellers. He was a retired employee of Fieldcrest Cannon, Inc. with over 30 years of service. His first job was working with the W.P.A. building the Ruby - Hartsville Highway and later with the C.C.C. building Cheraw State Park. Buck was a faithful member of Cross Roads Baptist Church where he was instrumental in the building of the Family Life Center. Heyward was married to the late Eleanor Quick Sellers and was also preceded in death by 4 sisters: Maude S. Rushing, Annie Lee Sellers, Sarah S. Moose, and Laura S. Medford; 3 brothers: Robert, John Franklin, and Carroll Lucas Sellers.

Special Sister in Law: Martha C. Sellers of Kannapolis, NC
