HISTORY: Mr. Butler was born April 27, 1938 in Cheraw, SC a son of the late Henry Morrison Butler and Mildred Thompson Butler. He was a former employee of Flour Daniels and worked in construction management for many years. Mr. Butler was a member of White Oak Presbyterian Church, where he enjoyed singing in the church choir. His hobbies included gardening, fishing, working in his flowers, and playing computer games on facebook. In addition to his parents, Homer was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Roscoe Butler, and 1 brother, Henry Thomas Butler.
