Mrs. Irene Jones Carter, daughter of the late Robert Ross and Charlie Bell Jones went to meet the Lord on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in Rock Hill, SC. Graveside Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, August 11, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in McFarlan, NC by Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Carter attended school in McFarlan, NC, following her school years she worked in Rock Hill as a dental hygienist and later retired from the Pruitt Healthcare Nursing Home. She enjoyed being active in First Baptist Church of Rock Hill and was a loving friend and neighbor to everyone.

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and a host of friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to a special friend, Madge Duncan, and her son, Scotty, for all the love and care shown to Mrs. Carter.
